While Nissan and Ford have long been seen as reliable brands for first-time drivers, the results of this year’s survey appear to paint a different picture. While no manufacturer sits below 80% reliability, we’ve taken a deeper look into some of the more reliable models out there to help if you’re looking for a new used car.

Dacia Sandero

For those looking for a small, relatively cheap car to get them from point A to point B, the Dacia Sandero seems to be a pretty sturdy choice. Both the latest and previous versions of this particular model rarely see faults reported, with the majority of owners claiming that the car is overall reliability is one of the best things about it. This car is a simple hatchback, with good running costs and three different levels to choose from.
