Terms & Conditions
This agreement covers all Products and Services entered in to by the Parties from time to time.
A binding contract for that booking is formed when the Garage accepts the booking request

Definitions and Interpretation
Approved Servicing means a schedule of servicing provided by S4S allowing the Garage to provide a fixed price service.
Booking means the process by which a User uses the Website to search, obtain a price, compare and select a Garage and by which the Garage will confirm time for delivery of Services over email/phone/text.
Booking Fee means the fee charged by S4S to the Garage for Services booked by Users over the S4S system.
GDPR means the General Data Protection Regulation
Garage Profile means the data supplied or amended by the Garage and displayed over the website.
Nominated Person means the person nominated by a Garage who has been given the responsibility to act for and on behalf of the Garage.
Product Schedule means a schedule of the various offerings the Garage has agreed to use. The Garage agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of that Product Schedule.
Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
Related Services mean (but not limited to) any other automotive service delivery, maintenance, parts, accessories or repair work.
Services mean any combination of Related Services, Approved Servicing or repair work.
Social Site means any social site included but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, where the Service 4 Service System is used.
S4S Service4Service Ltd, company registered in England and Wales 03151151. Registered to Enterprise House, 23 Parklands, Railton Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 9JX.
S4S System means the technical platform of S4S which provides the mechanism for all online and offline products and supplies driven by S4S.
User is an individual who utilises the Website.
VAT All prices quoted subject to VAT at the standard rate.
Website includes any website that S4S may own, run or manage from time to time including but not limited to any Garage website or Social Site where the S4S System is used.
2.Garage Profile and Information
- The Garage creates a Garage profile for each of their garages by logging into the website and completing their Garage Profile (link to be provided).
- The Garage Profile can be changed by the Nominated Person using their password-protected login. Any changes will be the sole responsibility of the Garage.
- The Garage acknowledges that S4S relies on the accuracy of information provided by the Garage in amending or creating a Garage Profile. S4S is not liable for any content or misrepresentation of the Garage or its services. The Garage shall at all times remain responsible for all its actions and its instructions to S4S no matter whether they be verbal or written.
- During the creation or amendment of a Garage Profile, the Garage must ensure all the details are accurate.
- The username and password are not transferable, if the Garage is aware of unauthorised use notification must immediately be made to garages@service4service.co.uk.
- The Garage is responsible for taking all reasonable steps to ensure the confidentiality and cyber security of any User data S4S supply to the Garage and of access to the S4S System including but not limited to using a device that it is supported by the manufacturer, enabling automatic updates for operating systems, locking devices when out of use, settling a complex unique password, not sharing passwords, using two-factor authentication to access the system where available, ensuring any devices have up to date firewalls and ensuring any User data is held securely in an encrypted and secure environment.
- The email address(es) used by the Garage in the set-up of the system will be used for contact with the garage which may include confirmation of Bookings. These email addresses are agreed by both Parties to be business email addresses for the purposes of this Agreement and GDPR.
- S4S reserves the right to request verification of any information amended or submitted by the Garage.
3.Bookings and Users
- S4S does not guarantee that a Garage will receive any Bookings from any User.
- S4S cannot and will not make enquiries on the ability of a User to complete any transaction.
- The Garage must ensure that the User is made aware of their terms and conditions of the business before undertaking any of the Services.
- The Garage agrees they will continuously hold suitable insurances including but not restricted to public liability, motor trade comprehensive road and vehicle risk cover, to protect both the User and their property.
- S4S will not validate or accept any responsibility for any User reviews of the Garage that may be publicly displayed via the Website or made available in the public domain and any opinions expressed are those solely of the User submitting the review.
- The Garage agrees to perform its obligation to a User in providing the Services with all due care and attention, in accordance with industry best practises and using parts meeting the original manufacturer specifications.
- If the vehicle is under the manufacturer’s warranty the Garage agrees that it will inform the User of any further Services that may be required under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Products provided In the Product Schedule are used to introduce a User to a Garage. The contract for Services is between the User and the Garage and does not Involve S4S, other than the payment of Fees. The User may have used the Garage previously, but this does not preclude payment of Fees.
- The Garage commits to clear, concise, and timely communication with Users, including confirming appointments before the appointment date, status updates, and completion notifications.
- The Garage will adhere to the appointment schedule agreed upon with Users via the S4S System & its technologies.
- The Garage will maintain pricing, availability, opening hours and service information on the S4S System accurately and promptly update any changes.
- If the Garage's prices change before The Garage updates the S4S System, the Garage will honour the prices at the time that the Booking is made by the User.
- Any additional costs or required repairs beyond the initial Booking must be discussed and approved by the User before proceeding.
- The Garage will deliver a high-quality User experience with transparency and integrity.
- The Garage will ensure timely resolution of User issues, and in case of escalation, coordinate with S4S's User support team.
- S4S may monitor User feedback and service quality, and any consistently negative feedback may lead to a review of the Garage's status on the platform.
- The Garage should proactively address and resolve any negative feedback, showcasing their commitment to User satisfaction.
- S4S may conduct periodic quality audits to ensure that Garages are meeting service standards and maintaining high User satisfaction. The results of these audits may be used to provide constructive feedback and support Improvement efforts.
- If the Garage has a dispute with a User, to the extent permitted by law, the Garage releases S4S, its officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates (in negligence or otherwise) from all liability whatsoever. S4S shall not be liable for any claims for loss, damage or liability, including special indirect or consequential loss or damage such as loss of revenue, unavailability of systems or loss of data or system malfunction however caused and shall keep safe and indemnity S4S against any and all claims.
- The Garage acknowledges that the internet can be unstable and, sometimes, insecure. At times the S4S Systems may not be available, or Bookings may not be processed or may not be accepted for reasons beyond the control of S4S. In these circumstances, S4S has no liability to the Garage or a User.
- S4S gives no warranty concerning the products provided in the Product Schedules. Under no circumstances is S4S or any of its carriers or suppliers liable or responsible in any way to a Garage, User or any other person for any loss, damages, costs, expenses or other claims (including consequential damages and loss of profits or loss of revenues), howsoever caused, including but not restricted to, as a result, direct or Indirect of any defect, deficiency, discrepancy and content and timeliness of delivery.
- If The Garage does not provide User pricing from The Garage within 2 weeks of a Product Schedule being agreed, then S4S reserves the right to set The Garage's Product pricing to average pricing within 12 miles of The Garage on the S4S system.
- Nothing in these terms and conditions Is Intended to limit or exclude any liability of S4S where and to the extent that any applicable law prohibits such exclusion or limitation.
- S4S reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and any Product Schedules without notice at any time. The Garage may also be suspended or removed from the S4S System at S4S’s discretion.
4.Payment of Booking Fees
- Fees and Booking Fees are set out in these Terms and Conditions.
- Bookings taken from a User over the S4S System will be sent to the Garage by email or a method agreed between the parties.
- The User will receive Information about the Garage and Services booked.
- A Booking will generate a Booking Fee, the Garage agrees to pay £20.00 + VAT per chargeable booking through S4S.
- The User may have used the Garage previously, but this does not preclude them from payment of Fees if the booking is made through S4S.
- S4S will invoice the Garage within 5 working days of the booking date.
- Payment, unless stated separately in the terms and conditions, will be within 14 days of the date of the invoice and statutory interest will be charged on all overdue amounts at 8% plus the prevailing Bank of England base rate.
- Cancellation of payment during the term of agreement of any Product Schedule will not be deemed to have cancelled the product and full payment of the balance will be due until the end of the Agreement Period plus cancellation terms on any products.
- Fees may be increased in line with the retail price index (RPI), at S4S's discretion. Where possible one month's written notice will be provided.
- In the event of payment default, S4S reserves the right to conduct credit checks on the Garage and/or the signatory of this Agreement, the signatory consents to such credit checks to be completed by any approved credit agency that S4S appoints in this event.
5.Access & Interference
The Garage, its agents, associates, employees, subcontractors or other must not use any device, software, routine or manual process to bypass, interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the S4S Systems or to monitor or copy any of its content or functionality without S4S's prior written permission. The Garage agrees that it will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the infrastructure of the S4S System.
6.Review of Content
S4S may from time-to-time monitor or review content of the Garage Profile and reserves the right to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials (in whole or in part) that in S4S's sole discretion is objectionable or in violation of any applicable law or these terms.
- Other Programs & Downtime
- S4S reserves the right to change the range of products and services available through any program at any time. S4S is not responsible for changes to, or discontinuance of any program. S4S will endeavour to give reasonable notice of any changes.
- In the event of errors in processing, cyber-attack or downtime of the S4S system or any other errors or delays causing delays as a result of unforeseen technical difficulties associated with but not limited to, servers, data hosting centre, internet service provider or any other reason, S4S reserves the right to take such action as it considers necessary concerning the S4S System and cannot be held liable for any losses to the User or Garage.
7.Intellectual Property & Indemnities
- The Garage acknowledges that all intellectual property contained on or within the S4S System is and remains at all times the property of S4S or the other parties identified. The Garage agrees not to use the information or other material in the S4S System for any purpose or in any manner that would, in any way, infringe S4S's intellectual property rights or those of the owners of the rights. Except for the temporary copy held in a computer's cache, the material referred to above may not otherwise be used, copied, reproduced, published, stored in a retrieval system, altered or transmitted in any form or by any means in whole or part without prior written approval from S4S or the approval of the relevant copyright owner.
- S4S logos for Service4Service are a registered trademark. Other featured words or
symbols, used to identify the source of goods and services, are the trademarks of their respective owners. Nothing displayed on any medium but not limited to the Website, grants any licence or right of use of any logo, or trademark displayed without the express written permission of the relevant owner.
3. The Garage gives full permissions and authority for S4S to use the Garage logos, trademarks and copyrighted material. If the Garage wishes S4S to use third party logos, trademarks or copyrighted material on and display over S4S then the Garage is solely responsible for ensuring it has the correct permissions and/or authority in place for this use. If the permission and or authority is removed the Garage must immediately inform S4S in writing.
8.The Garage indemnifies and shall keep indemnified S4S:
+ against any claim a User may make against S4S in relation to the provision by the Garage of Services including but not limited to offences under GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 'PECR', the Bribery Act 2010, the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the UK tax evasion facilitation offence under the Criminal Finances Act 2017, the failure by the Garage to provide Services, faulty workmanship, faulty materials, damage to the Users motor vehicle or any other claim of any nature a User may make against S4S;
+ against any liability for inaccurate information relating to an Account, Garage or Garage Profile that may affect the pricing or ability by the Garage to provide the Services;
+ against any unauthorised use of Information provided by the Garage;
+ against all claims (including but not restricted to the third party and/or User claims and/or use of logos, trademarks, copyright), demands, damages, costs (including legal costs), penalties or suits arising out of or consequential upon the use of S4S Products
9.Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
- In performing its obligations under this Agreement, the Garage shall:
+ Comply with all applicable anti-slavery and human trafficking laws, statutes and regulations from time to time in force including the Modern Slavery Act 2015;
+ not engage in any activity, practice or conduct that would constitute an offence under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 if such activity, practice or conduct were carried out in the UK;
+ The Garage shall notify S4S with full details as soon as it becomes aware of any actual or suspected slavery or human trafficking in a supply chain which has a connection with this Agreement;
10.Data
1. Under General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) S4S shall provide User Personal Data to the Garage as is necessary for the purpose of providing the Services.
- The Garage agrees to comply in all material respects with the applicable provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998, PECR and GDPR in the operation of this Agreement.
- The Garage agrees that it is its absolute responsibility to gain necessary permissions and consents to use and or store any data passed to the Garage over the S4S platform.
11.Variations
- S4S reserves the right to vary the specifications, rates, rewards, rules and conditions of any element of this Agreement, the Product Schedules, Website, Booking Widgets at any time.
- An announcement may be issued via an authorised e-mail from S4S to the Nominated Person regarding Variations. The Garage is bound by these terms of use as amended from time to time from the moment of announcement.
- It is the responsibility of the Garage to appraise itself of any changes in these terms of use from time to time.
12. Dispute Resolution
1. All questions or disputes relating to these terms should be submitted to S4S. S4S will endeavour to resolve any disputes expeditiously. All interpretations of the terms of use shall be at the discretion of S4S. If S4S makes an error such error shall not constitute a breach of these Terms of Use. The Garage acknowledges that any complaints or enquiries concerning any products or Services will be directed to the Garage in question.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
1. This agreement and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation shall be governed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
2. Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation.
