Juddering, jerky low-speed shifts, a PDK fault or a gearbox warning on your Porsche Cayenne, Macan or 911? We diagnose the fault first, then quote you before any work starts.

- Targeted repairs where possible, not automatic gearbox replacement
- Warranty claims handled with major UK warranty providers

Is your Porsche showing any of these?
Porsche PDK and Tiptronic gearboxes usually give warning before they fail. Caught early, many of these faults can be fixed with a targeted repair rather than a full replacement.
PDK fault or limp mode
A "transmission fault" message, reduced power or the car stuck in one gear to protect itself.
Judder at low speed
A shudder when pulling away or creeping in traffic. Often a sign of PDK clutch wear.
Harsh or jerky shifts
Rough changes, especially from cold or between first and second gear.
Gear selection problems
Slow to engage Drive or Reverse, or the gearbox dropping into neutral.
Fluid leaks or noises
Fluid under the car, or whining and clunking from the gearbox.
Loss of drive
The car won't move in Drive or Reverse. Stop driving it; we can talk you through collection or recovery.

A new gearbox isn't always the answer
Main dealer quotes for a replacement Porsche gearbox often run into thousands of pounds. In many cases the fault is a single part, such as a clutch pack, sensor or valve body, that can be repaired or rebuilt for a fraction of that.
We run a full diagnostic first and only recommend what's needed, with a clear quote before any work begins.

Porsche gearbox repair FAQs
How much does a Porsche gearbox repair cost?
It depends on the fault. A targeted repair costs far less than a rebuild, and a rebuild costs far less than a new gearbox. We give you an initial estimate on the phone and a confirmed quote after diagnosis, before any work starts.
Can you repair a Porsche PDK gearbox?
Yes. Many PDK faults come down to clutch wear, sensors or the control unit rather than the whole gearbox. We diagnose the exact fault first and quote you before any work begins.
Can I keep driving with a gearbox warning light?
We don't recommend it. Driving on a known gearbox fault can turn a small repair into a full rebuild. If the car feels different or the warning is on, get it checked as soon as you can.
Can you collect my Porsche if it won't drive?
Yes. Tell us where the car is and whether it can be driven, and we'll explain the collection or recovery options. Collection and delivery is included on repairs over £1,500, subject to our terms.
Will the repair protect my existing warranty?
We fit OEM or manufacturer warranty-approved parts, and we work with major UK warranty providers. Let us know about your warranty at the start so we can help with the claim where your policy allows.
What guarantee do I get?
Every Porsche gearbox repair and rebuild is guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labour.
How long will my Porsche be off the road?
Diagnostic findings are usually ready within 2 to 3 days of collection. Repair time depends on the fault and parts, and we'll give you a time estimate with your quote.
