ChevroletProblems report that passlock sensor errors are &#8220;preventing owners from using their cars&#8221; with the issue resulting from a problem with the sensor. (http:\/\/www.chevroletproblems.com\/passlock\/) This system can prove to be faulty and lead to issues with locking the vehicle, unlocking the vehicle, or even starting it up at all. Owners have come up with a few temporary fixes, usually involving waiting for 10-15 minutes, but a permanent fix is typically recommended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Power Steering Issues<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some Chevy vehicles, particularly the 2015 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, have reportedly been prone to issues with the power steering. ChevyProblems report that the effected vehicles have an &#8220;unprotected electrical connection&#8221; between the power steering motor and torque sensor, and that this could lead to premature corrosion. A recall was announced in 2021, in which vehicles were recalled in order to replace the sensor cover and apply anti-corrosion gel to this connection. Some of the most common issues have included &#8220;transmission failure, power lock malfunction, heater issues, excessive oil consumption, pass lock failure and intake manifold gasket failure&#8221;, as reported by MotorandWheels (https:\/\/motorandwheels.com\/problems-with-chevrolet-cars\/).
